Emerging as the most youthful graduate from Santa Clara University, Kairan Quazi could articulate complete thoughts at a mere two years old.
Can you recall the television series ‘Young Sheldon’ on CBS? It appears to have materialized in reality. Kairan Quazi, a software prodigy at the age of 14 is on the verge of finishing his college education and has already been recruited by SpaceX, a space technology company overseen by billionaire Elon Musk.
Quazi mentioned that he gained widespread attention after local California media stations spotlighted his journey, broadcasting to their audience the narrative of a 14-year-old ready to graduate from Santa Clara University on 17th June, marking him as the youngest graduate ever from the institution.
Following his graduation, Quazi will join the ranks of students who completed their college studies during their early years.
Quazi, akin to numerous brilliant minds, had a notably distinctive upbringing, with his exceptional abilities being noticed by his parents from the tender age of 2, when he could hold articulate conversations and engage in extended dialogues.
By the time he entered Kindergarten, Quazi would avidly consume content from National Public Radio and engage in in-depth discussions about the topics he absorbed, conversing with both his peers and educators.
According to BrainGain, an academic publication, by the 3rd grade “he (Quazi) underwent assessments that confirmed his intellect ranked in the top 0.1% of the general population.”
Feeling uninspired by the educational system, Quazi promptly transitioned to Las Positas community college and then transferred to Santa Clara to pursue studies in computer science at the age of just 11.
Reflecting on his college experience, Quazi expressed, “It was in the university setting that I truly felt I was absorbing knowledge at my intended level,” during an interview.
Upon completing his academic requirements this year, Quazi participated in a job interview with Starlink, an internet satellite division under Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
Impressing the organization, Quazi successfully secured the position and will soon relocate to Redmond, Washington in proximity to the SpaceX headquarters.
“She’s making significant adjustments to move with me to Washington, and I am forever grateful for her support,” stated Quazi, acknowledging his mother as his primary pillar of strength.
