In a recent address to Karachi’s commercial sector, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir articulated robust assurance in the promising and secure prospects of Pakistan.
Reflecting on the nation’s progress, he remarked, “The shadows of hopelessness that hovered a year ago have now vanished.”
Reiterating his previous statements, the Army Chief emphasized the importance of nurturing optimism, stating: “Hopelessness is not permissible for Muslims.” He noted that numerous critical economic indicators in Pakistan have recently exhibited favorable trends and anticipates continued growth for the upcoming year.
In reply to those who maintain a pessimistic outlook and speculate about the potential of the nation defaulting, he queried, “What has happened to those voices now?” He implied that such individuals should bear the repercussions of their forecasts.
Addressing security apprehensions, the Army Chief indicated that terrorism often receives backing from illegal activities and foreign influences. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s digital borders and ensuring the security of its citizens in the online realm.
