Donald Trump reacted to the issue on his Truth Social platform, denouncing the Justice Department for covertly targeting his Twitter account without informing him about this encroachment on his civil liberties.
Although all of Trump’s tweets are accessible to the public, the special counsel is keen on obtaining non-public data such as direct messages, tweet drafts, location information, and the devices used for tweeting.
